The Local Clean Energy Alliance recently held a series of lively monthly meetings featuring a wide range of presenters. In September, we heard from advocates for community-based solar gardens to share the cost and benefits of solar investments; in October, we discussed Energy Upgrade California, and heard from Assemblymember Nancy Skinner's energy expert Michael Bedard on her office's efforts to promote state energy efficiency policy; and in November, we learned about the prospects and challenges of on-bill repayment strategies to finance clean energy projects in residential buildings.
