Bay Localize is showing the film Bidder 70 at The New Parkway Theater to kick off our film series fundraiser "Movies that Mobilize" to catalyze discussion on strategies for the climate justice movement. The film will be followed by a panel discussion highlighting community choice energy and what can be done to stop fracking in California! We will also raffle off some amazing prizes courtesy of our local generous in-kind sponsors: House Kombucha, Trader Joe's Lakeshore and Rockridge, Oakland Grown Card, Tehhh-it-up apparel and more!
Children are welcome and we have arranged childcare, so please let us know if you will need it and include the number of children and ages with your RSVP.

OUR OVERALL GOAL:
Our goal is to raise $15,000 by the end of 2013, and so far, through the generosity of our Donor Circle we are 20% of the way there. Through this film series fundraiser we seek to inspire, inform, bring awareness and mobilize our community toward resilient action to fight climate change. By meeting 100% of our goal we can do it!
