Bay Localize and co-conveners invite you to the Bay Area Convening on Resilience and Equity, a gathering of community groups, social movements, and public planners to chart a path for resilience with justice in the Bay Area!

Resilience is quickly becoming a buzzword. Regional plans are being formulated for resilient economy, climate adaptation, and emergency preparedness. It’s time for Bay Area community groups and social movements to establish a common agenda of what equitable community resilience looks like, and how to make it happen.

Come with your proposals to build regional resilience, and let's set the agenda together!

Goals for the Convening:

  • Priorities: Set priorities for getting equitable resilience in local and regional plans
  • Proposals: Gather community proposals to build regional resilience
  • Collaboration: Commit to next steps for collaboration to make proposals reality

Cost:
The low conference fee of $7-10 includes catered lunch.

Registration:
Space is limited! Please RSVP to Leanne Chou at leanne@baylocalize.org to reserve your seat. Conference fees will be collected at the door. If you would like to be invoiced ahead of time, email details to Leanne Chou at leanne@baylocalize.org.
