Bay Localize is excited to announce its re-release of Who Ate the Economy? featuring a new soundtrack and new distribution through screenings of HEIST: Who Stole the American Dream?
Inspired by the Occupy Wallstreet movement, this video
examines both the economic and environmental crisis from the point of view of the US economy as a pizza party. There seems to be a lot of pizza, but everyone isn't getting their fair share. Bay Localize makes the point that to save the US economy, the 99% has two tasks:
- Re-make the economic pizza with less oil and coal and more fresh, local, organic ingredients
- Share the slices differently
Climate change and dwindling oil drive up prices of basics such as food and energy, causing inflation and deepening the recession.
